About the Role

The Manager, Information Services is responsible for managing implementation, support, optimization, and strategic direction of healthcare information systems. This position partners with senior leadership to ensure operational efficiency, resource alignment, and continuous improvement in application service delivery across a complex healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership
• Oversee day-to-day IS operations and report updates to executive leadership
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while leading assigned associates
• Ensure initiatives remain within scope and aligned with organizational priorities
• Support prioritization and resource utilization planning

Team Management & Development
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop team members
• Conduct performance evaluations and manage payroll/time tracking
• Coach associates to deliver high-quality service outcomes
• Foster collaboration across geographically diverse teams

Strategic & Process Improvement
• Drive continuous improvement in application service delivery
• Apply healthcare operational knowledge to guide system design and deployment
• Stay current on emerging healthcare technology trends and best practices
• Promote cost-effective innovation and service optimization

Financial & Resource Oversight
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts
• Manage departmental resources and financial planning
• Monitor workload distribution across teams

Ideal Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in IT leadership
• Strong knowledge of healthcare information systems
• Experience managing customer support within a matrixed organization
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-project environments
• Strong financial acumen in budgeting and resource planning
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Adaptability in dynamic healthcare environments

More About the Opportunity
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Full-time leadership role in healthcare IT
• May require travel and extended hours during critical implementations
