Job Description
lso plays a key support role in the Wyoming Breeders Award Program, assisting the program administrator with registrations, tracking horse movements, verifying qualifications, calculating and awarding points, and supporting the distribution of more than $10 million annually to participants.
Additional duties include providing clerical support for all Commission programs, managing website and social media updates, answering telephones, maintaining electronic databases, and communicating with a diverse population of applicants and stakeholders. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

• Issue licenses to all individuals required to possess a license to conduct pari-mutuel and gaming activities.
• Assisting the Wyoming Breeders Award Program administrator in all aspects of the program including registration, movements, qualifications, awarding of points, and monetary distributions to participants.
• Assisting with various clerical duties for all programs within the purview of the Wyoming Gaming Commission.
• Managing website/social media.
• Answering telephones.
KNOWLEDGE :
• Knowledge of critical thinking
• Knowledge of interpersonal communication skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate's Degree (typically in Business)
Experience:
0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Office Support Specialist I
OR
Education & Experience Substitution:
2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications)
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : None
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS :
• Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, driving an automobile, etc.
• Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.

Responsibilities
- • This position serves as the Licensing Clerk for the Wyoming Gaming Commission
- • The primary responsibility is to facilitate licensure for all individuals regulated by the Commission, including processing applications, issuing licenses for pari-mutuel and gaming activities, and maintaining complete and accurate hard files for all applicants
