• Manage incoming calls, patient messages, and appointment requests.
• Schedule patient visits, sleep studies, and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain and update patient records in electronic health systems.
• Verify insurance, referrals, and authorizations for pulmonary and sleep services.
• Coordinate communication between physicians, nurses, and patients.
• Assist with documentation, reports, and medical correspondence.
• Support telehealth visits and ensure patients are properly prepared.
• Track test results (e.g., sleep studies, pulmonary function tests) and route to providers.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s a plus)
• 1–3 years of medical administrative or unit secretary experience.
• Experience in a healthcare setting (pulmonary, sleep clinic, or outpatient a plus)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and scheduling software.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
