Job Description

Responsibilities
• Install, program, service, and troubleshoot commercial fire alarm system (addressable & conventional)
• Perform NFPA 72 inspections and complete electronic reports via ServiceTrade or tablet
• Read and interpret plans, riser diagrams, and wiring schematics
• Ensure compliance with fire codes and standards (NFPA 72, NEC, local AHJs)
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and clients on job sites
• Mentor helpers and apprentices to build the next generation of field techs
• Remain open to cross-training in voice evacuation, sprinkler controls, and special hazards systems

Requirements
• Current Texas FAL license required
• NICET Level I preferred – NICET Level II mandatory within 6 months (we pay for it)
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Coachable, dependable, and able to work independently
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Willingness to mentor junior techs and grow as a leader

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
