Duties
• Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• 100% no touch freight.
• Drive specialized dry vans trucks required for various deliveries.
• Manage route driving responsibilities efficiently, planning optimal paths to meet delivery schedules while maintaining compliance with hours-of-service regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip.
• Document delivery details accurately in logs and reports, including mileage, cargo specifics, and any incidents encountered during transit.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and address any route or delivery issues promptly.

Experience
• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL A license, including experience with manual transmission vehicles.
• Demonstrated ability to operate dry vans trucks only.
• Prior delivery driver experience involving freight handling procedures, and route driving in diverse environments.
• Familiarity with safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo securement standards.
• Ability to operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts safely when required for loading or unloading freight.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements for commercial drivers.

Qualifications

  • We are seeking a motivated and minimum 2 yrs
  • experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Drivers, to join our dynamic transportation team
  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL A license, including experience with manual transmission vehicles
