We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team at the City of El Segundo, California. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex engineering projects and contribute to the growth and development of our community.
About the Opportunity:
• Perform project design, surveying, and construction management tasks;
• Review development plans for private construction projects and ensure compliance with city codes and regulations;
• Provide technical assistance and coordinate plan check activities with other departments and external agencies;
• Respond to inquiries and interpret city codes, ordinances, and regulations.
This position requires:
• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field;
• Four years of progressively responsible professional engineering experience;
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of California;
• A valid California driver's license.
