The company is at an exciting inflection as we continue to expand our existing brand portfolio and deepen relationships with new and existing customers. The Customer Service Rep - Inside Sales is responsible for responding accurately to requests for product information and pricing.
LOCATION: Fully Onsite - 3995 Pine Ln SE, Bessemer, AL 35022 & 4251 Turin Dr, Bessemer, AL 35020
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Answering inquiries from clients while promoting the company and its products.
• Reviewing and processing customer quotes/orders, ensuring all details are aligned with project specifications and timelines.
• Analyzing historical data to support accurate and competitive quoting processes.
• Participating in initiatives to improve customer service experience.
• Reporting customer complaints or concerns to the escalations team for resolution.
• Learning the various buying habits and expectations of the customers to provide exceptional customer service.
• Conducting regular follow-ups with customers on quote status and requests feedback on missed opportunities.
• Working with the V.P. of Sales in an administrative capacity including updating information in the ERP when necessary.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES:
• Minimum 3-5 years related experience including experience with technical products.
• Experience in the utility industry preferred.
• Expert utilization of Syteline or comparable ERP system preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Organized with strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, reps, and other inside sales based on integrity and service
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel
WORKING CONDITIONS:
