The Role and What You’ll Do : The Travel Consultant, Texas A&M University Athletics will oversee the complex management and execution of collegiate team and administrative travel.

Arrange all aspects of individual athletic travel, including GDS air, hotel, and car.Provide emergency and after-hours support to the athletics department.

Assist in booking and managing small charter planes and helicopters for both administrative and recruiting travel.Administrative duties such as invoicing team buses and hotel payments.

Arrange all aspects of athletic team travel, including group air, hotel contracts, and charter busesMaintain a professional working relationship with the clients while representing the partnership.

You Have These : Minimum of 2+ years in the sports, travel and / or hospitality industryKnowledge of Sabre or similar GDS.

Knowledge and experience of collegiate athletics and / or athletics travel.Experience with booking and / or executing group travel (Air-Hotel-Bus).

Knowledge of general office PC-based programs, including Microsoft Office 365.Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.

Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work at a highly efficient level.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to produce accurate work under strict deadlines.Teamwork, reliability, and trust are key to this position. Following a dedicated work schedule as well as prompt responsiveness to clients, vendors, and teammates alike is a requirement.CORE VALUES
