Job Description

Lot Associates are responsible for aiding customers in loading their vehicles and ensuring that the store entrance is well-maintained. Additionally, it is their duty to keep a sufficient amount of carts close to the entrance.

Qualification:

• A secondary school degree or its comparable certificate is often mandatory for individuals applying for this junior-level job at most firms.
• In order to effectively engage with customers, Lot Associates must possess exceptional customer service skills such as approachability, friendliness, and helpfulness.
• Physical fitness and the ability to safely perform tasks like lifting heavy objects, pushing carts, and working in varying outdoor weather conditions are essential job requirements.
• In order to guarantee the provision of efficient service and a seamless experience for clientele, communication with customers and coworkers must be effective.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the cleanliness, arrangement, and absence of clutter in the open-air spaces. This encompasses sweeping off the dirt, collecting garbage, and upholding well-groomed arrangements of seasonal products.
• Retrieving shopping carts from the parking lot and relocating them to assigned spaces within or outside the store.
• To ensure that the loading and unloading of merchandise happen efficiently while maintaining safety, managing traffic is crucial. This may involve tasks such as coordinating with colleagues, directing traffic and following safety regulations.
• Being vigilant in keeping an eye on the parking area for any unsafe conditions or potential security issues and taking prompt action to rectify them. This may involve notifying authorities of any suspicious activities or extending support to customers who require aid.
