Warehouse Associate Job Summary
A Warehouse Associate at Roofline Supply and Delivery in Vancouver plays a critical role in our distribution process. The successful candidate will be responsible for properly and safely stocking roofing materials, managing inventory levels, and ensuring accurate counts as products come in and go out.
This is a dynamic position that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience working in a warehouse or similar setting, we encourage you to apply.
Main Responsibilities:
• Inventory Management: Receive and stock roofing materials, manage inventory levels, and maintain accurate records of product movement.
• Material Handling: Safely operate a forklift to unload inventory from incoming delivery trucks and load our trucks for jobsite deliveries.
• Communication: Read purchase orders, communicate with team members, and ensure seamless coordination of warehouse operations.
Requirements:
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, or similar environment.
• Certifications: Ability to operate a forklift (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counts and English verbal and written skills for effective communication.
