Humana Provider IT is seeking a senior full-stack software engineer who is smart, curious and loves the challenge of solving problems that improve people's lives. Our Provider contracting solutions use the latest software stacks and cloud technologies. You'll collaborate with a fun and close-knit agile team to architect, implement, test, and continuously deliver new features and products to our customers.

The Senior Full Stack Engineer Performs software engineering activities in all layers of the stack, from setting up the database to programming in the back-end and the appearance at the front-end. The Senior Full Stack Engineer works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Job Description
The Senior Full Stack Engineer is involved in all stages of software development, including front-end development, back-end development, database integrations, network and hosting management, user interface, user experience, and back-end server management. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Responsibilities:
The Full Stack Software Engineer will:
- Write effective REST APIs and technical documentation
- Work with a team of developers with deep experience in frontend technologies, distributed micro services, and full stack systems
- Work across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
- Work with cloud native stack, build on Azure, AWS, or Google, use technologies like Kubernetes
- Write automated test cases to ensure correctness, responsiveness, and efficiency of the software product
- Provide expertise to influence project, initiative, and maintenance technical direction during discovery, planning, and implementation stages.
- Maintain modern development standards with best-practice approaches and development processes
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or combination of education and relevant IT experience
- 4 or more years of strong experience in .NET C# development, Web API development
- 2 or more years of experience in at least one of the following: Angular, React or any JS framework
- 2 or more years of experience in at least one of the following: Java or Node.js
- 1 or more years of experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or another cloud service
- 1 or more years of experience in Rabbit MQ/Kafka Messaging queue technologies.
- 1 or more years of experience in DevOps tools (Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub)
- Experience in relational databases like Oracle/SQL Server and Document based NoSQL database like MongoDB/Cosmos.
- Master's Degree
- Advance experience and/or certification in one of public cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure/AWS/GCP
- Advance experience in building software with Cloud native technologies
- Advanced understanding of web modular design patterns

Work-At-Home Requirements
- WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
- A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
- Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
