Responsibilities
- Provide expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the data & analytics architecture, including relational, reporting, document and data lake architecture design plus AWS Cloud Platform disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Provide data architecture design recommendations that align with long and short-term IT and business strategies for user use cases.
- Define scope and priorities for developing, deploying and/or improving data management standards, policies, and processes enhancing the quality and completeness of product data.
- Define key risks for data management and ensure compliance with related policies, roles, and responsibilities and standards.
- Develop technology architecture strategies based on a situational awareness of various scenarios and motivations.
- Develop strategies and direction for systems and solutions using current and emerging technologies.
- Evaluate and recommend new products, as well as maintain knowledge of emerging technologies for enterprise application.
- Perform as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent.
- Provide technical guidance to project team areas, as appropriate.
- Work across the organization as a visionary, with an understanding of strategy, to proactively assist in defining the direction of future projects.
- Provide advanced multi-disciplinary knowledge, skills and experience in technical architecture and design.
- Collaborate, define, and maintain effective and efficient designs to optimize performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA and 9+ years of relevant work experience -OR-
- MS/MA and 7+ years of relevant work experience -OR-
- PhD with 5+ year of relevant experience
- Active Federal Q Clearance and ability to maintain such clearance
