The WANIC Summer Program Is Looking For Qualified Current Teachers With CTE STEM Endorsement Or Ability To Obtain Appropriate CTE Certificate For The Following Programs
• Health
• Vector Applications in Python (Video Game Math)
Qualifications:
• Washington State teaching certificate with an endorsement in CTE STEM/Skilled and Technical and/or Science and appropriate CTE certificate or be qualified to immediately obtain same.
• The teacher must have the correct V-Code and CTE Certification to match the course CIP Code. Work with Kari Schuh to ensure all CTE certifications are current for July 1st and beyond (since these often expire on June 30th)
• You must be a currently contracted LWSD teacher to apply.
Salary
Paid at your current curriculum rate
Program Details
Location: Lake Washington High School
Dates: June 30, 2025- July 17, 2025 with classes NOT meeting on July 4th
Schedule: Classes run from 8 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (with a 30-minute lunch) The teacher day is 7:30 a.m. to 3:30p.m.
Selection Procedure
The number of candidates needed is subject to student enrollment numbers.
