**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an inclusive and committed Sanitor who will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing processing and packaging equipment that produces Frito-Lay products. This role offers career opportunities with our parent company, PepsiCo.
As an Industrial Sanitor, you can expect to work on your feet in a loud manufacturing environment near heavy machinery. You will wear protective gear and navigate through the facility to ensure tasks are completed correctly.
Frito-Lay manufacturing facilities are large and may have varying temperatures due to seasonal changes and weather conditions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize equipment and lines necessary for manufacturing products
- Wipe down metal conveyors and clean the machine itself
- Work with strong chemicals, hot water, and cleaning agents
- Maintain and clean all buildings and some outside landscaping
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Will be required to work on some weekends, holidays, and off-shift hours
- Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods
- Willing to work at heights using ladders or lifts
- Comfortable working in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous equipment, and slippery surfaces
