About the position
As a Customer Account Advisor at Aaron's, you will play a crucial role in fostering customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction with our products. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and are committed to providing exceptional service. You will be responsible for driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by effectively communicating the benefits of our lease agreements to customers. Your ability to connect with customers, both over the phone and in person, will be key to helping them progress towards ownership of their leased products. In this role, you will maintain and update customer accounts, ensuring that all information is accurately documented in the store's computer system. You will engage directly with customers who have not renewed their lease agreements, conducting home visits and phone calls to encourage timely payments. Additionally, you will assist the Customer Account Manager in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and renewal goals, contributing to the overall success of the store. Your responsibilities will also include assisting with merchandise returns and guest deliveries, ensuring that all items are cleaned and certified in the Quality Assurance Center. You will be required to complete and maintain vehicle maintenance sheets and route sheets daily, load and secure products in the company vehicle, and operate the vehicle safely. As a team player, you will also support the Sales Team as needed and perform any reasonable duties requested by management.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and update customer accounts in the store computer system.

• Engage with customers who have not renewed their lease agreements through home visits and phone calls.

• Promote the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments to customers.

• Assist the Customer Account Manager in achieving revenue and renewal goals.
,
• Handle merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
,
• Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for returned items.
,
• Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets.
,
• Load, secure, and protect products in the company vehicle.
,
• Safely operate the company vehicle for customer visits and deliveries.
,
• Assist the Sales Team as needed and perform other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old in the United States or 18 years old in Canada.
,
• Valid state Driver's License and compliance with the Company's Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory MVR.
,
• Ability to work a schedule varying from 8 am to 9 pm.
,
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.
,
• Two years of retail or customer service experience preferred.
,
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
,
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
,
• High energy and ability to multitask effectively.
,
• Proper telephone etiquette and professional appearance.
,
• Proficient computer skills.
