Manager of Global Sourcing

Our client is a global leader in manufacturing safety products that service healthcare, hospitality and food solutions. They are seeking to hire a Manager of Global Sourcing responsible for the development and implementation of the organization’s strategic global sourcing plans. Manage supplier relationships and performance and collaborate with leadership to ensure the diversification and scalability of manufacturing. In this role, you will also research and analyze market trends and lead new product development initiatives.

Role reports to an office.

Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong partner relationships with suppliers
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure goals are aligned with business initiatives
• Identify industry trends that influence supplier strategy
• Manage implementation of sourcing initiatives and ensure execution
• Track and assess supplier performance and oversee production provisions
• Manage pricing negotiations with suppliers
• Lead projects in collaboration with Global Supply Chain and Business Development teams
• Oversee initiatives for new product development; analyze market and ensure alignment with business objectives

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Min. 10+ years of Supplier Sourcing and Management experience within Global Supply Chain
• Supplier Relationship experience
• Knowledge/Understanding of Global Sourcing, International Operations
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects, meet strict deadlines
• Excellent Project Management and Communication skills
• Strong Analytical skills; experience conducting research and analysis of market trends
• Excellent Negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel & PowerPoint)

Offering:
• Base Salary $130,000 - $150,000 (based on experience)
• Full Benefits Package, 401K
