About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a metal stamping production environment. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, lathes, drill presses, grinders and other metalworking tools
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Assist in equipment installation and facility upgrades as needed
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a multi-craft role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, etc.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems, including PLCs, sensors, AC/DC motors, and relay logic
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) a plus
• Welding and fabrication skills are a bonus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
