About the position
This teacher will develop, implement and conduct professional educational services to Persons in Our Care (PIOC) in order to meet their individual academic and/or vocational needs in Food Service Assistant & Bakery Vocational Programming. This position will complete required documentation of student assessment/progress, monitor and manage student behavior, attend staffing and meetings, and serve on inter and intra-disciplinary teams. This teacher will provide training to others and engage in specialized instruction and institution committee/projects upon request.
Responsibilities
• Develop, implement and conduct professional educational services to Persons in Our Care (PIOC).

• Complete required documentation of student assessment/progress.
,
• Monitor and manage student behavior.
,
• Attend staffing and meetings.
,
• Serve on inter and intra-disciplinary teams.
,
• Provide training to others.
,
• Engage in specialized instruction and institution committee/projects upon request.
Requirements
• Obtain ServSafe Certification (or equivalent) within six months of hire and maintain certification throughout employment.
,
• Possess or be eligible for certification by the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) board and WTC in Vocational Food Service Assistant and Bakery.
,
• Bachelor's Degree in any area of study along with two years of occupational experience in the field of Food Service and/or Bakery, or an Associate's Degree in any area of study along with seven years of occupational experience in the field of Food Service and/or Bakery.
,
• Individuals hired without a Bachelor's Degree must work to obtain one while employed in this role and meet the progress requirements set by the instructor and the Education Director for completion (usually 6 credits per year).
