Job Overview:
This role involves creating and building new client relationships, as well as channel and referral partners. The successful candidate will maintain existing client relationships and develop new opportunities within the existing client base. Key responsibilities include assisting in the proposal process for specific clients/prospects, including pricing development, proposal writing, contract negotiations, and client presentations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute strategies to market to existing leads and develop new leads in assigned territory using various methods, including telemarketing, cold calling, mail, and e-mail.
• Analyze required services and schedule presentations to prospects and clients, including software demonstrations.
• Assist in formulating standard proposals in conjunction with team members and functional groups.
• Collaborate with Operations and Accounting to evaluate project performance and recommend refinements and improvements of all components of proposals.
• Establish and maintain ongoing client relationships with various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems.
Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in business, science or other related discipline or an associate's degree and relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in industry business development and/or research and development.
• The ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A willingness to travel.
