• Job Summary:*

We're seeking an experienced System Administrator to lead the migration of our mainframe applications to a cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe administration and experience with cloud deployment technologies.
• Key Responsibilities:*

Responsibilities:

Install, customize and maintain the z/OS operating system and related software running on ZD&T

Plan and execute software upgrades

Perform installation-specific customization tasks to tailor the system to the organization's needs

Integrate new products with existing applications and user procedures

Automate routine operations to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention

Write and run installation jobs and scripts

Requirements:

5-10 years of experience in mainframe z/OS maintenance and support

Ability for self-motivation, independence in learning, reliability, dedication, high-energy, problem solving and good people skills

Ability to work and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to translate and communicate technical-speak into well written and spoken non-technical terms

Ability to work with a culturally and geographically diverse global team

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working on IBM s ZD&T

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
