Our Company has one exciting mission: To entertain the human race. \n \n Primary Purpose \n \nThe Retail In-Play Trader position requires a candidate who is motivated, experienced in wagering, and performs at the highest standard in the gambling industry. This position will be able to trade the vast In-Play sports wagering product within all BetMGM Sportsbooks across the USA.\n \n PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \n \n- Reports to the In-Play Supervisors and Senior Traders\n \n- Ensure daily schedules and operations are adhered to as per management's expectations\n \n- Perform other job-related duties as requested\n \n- Sets up daily sports trading markets and future bet types\n \n- Continually monitor world-wide markets on events currently being traded for comparison and evaluation\n \n- Make informed decisions pertaining to the trading of the live game data\n \n- Continually monitors live trends and game situations with a view to ensuring the quality and accuracy of the generated data\n \n- Trade In-Play events for BetMGM retail\n \n MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: \n \n- High School Diploma or equivalent\n \n PREFERRED: \n \n- Comprehensive knowledge of American sports and associated rules.\n \n- Passion for Sports data and statistics.\n \n- Strong mathematical skills.\n \n- Basic understanding of sports betting.\n \n CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: \n \n- Gaming Registration in applicable jurisdiction(s)\n \n- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States\n \n KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: \n \n- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.\n \n- Excellent time management skills.\n \n- Strong verbal and written communication skills.\n \n- Strong computer skills; comfortable with Microsoft Office suite of software.\n \n- Quick and informed decision making.\n \n-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to take initiative.\n \n- Flexible and committed to excellence.\n \n
