Description
The Kansas City Star seeks a part-time layout editor to work temporarily (approximately 26 weeks, with an extension possible) on our new Morning Sports Edition.
This editor will work closely with our sports editing team to select stories, plan the Morning Sports Edition and execute it on a regular basis.
This editor should plan to work up to five times a week (totaling 20-24 hours), including nights and weekends.
A journalism student could find this job, particularly appealing because it would be worked outside regular class hours and would provide valuable professional experience .
