As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape, focusing on our suite of SaaS healthcare applications and services. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our solutions are intuitive and of the utmost quality. You'll be engaged in all stages of the product design journey, from initial discovery to necessary adjustments before launch. Your role will require you to leverage your comprehensive design, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills while actively contributing to high-level strategic decisions alongside product, engineering, and executive partners.

As a valued member of our collaborative, motivated, and innovative team, the Senior Product Designer will be entrusted with the responsibility of crafting inventive and human-centric interface designs that not only meet, but strives to exceed customer expectations, while also driving our business objectives forward.

We work in a remote environment with a suite of tools supporting our collaborative process.  The product design team primarily relies on Figma for design tasks. This position requires an advanced proficiency in Figma to streamline and facilitate efficient design workflows.

Every day you will:

  • Craft enterprise workflows and interface solutions with a human-centric approach. 

  • Develop a wide range of design assets, including wireframes, user journeys, user flows, maps, service blueprints, personas, prototypes, and both high and low-fidelity designs, usability tests, interview guides.

  • Contribute to R1 design standards by identifying and driving new UI components and design patterns.

  • Self-organize work while operating within an Agile team environment.

  • Attention to detail and follow through in producing multiple iterations of your work to reach the best solution.

  • Collaborate and partner closely with Operations, Product Managers and Engineers, and Product Design team members to create efficient workflows, intuitive interface solutions and facilitate design research.

  • Actively contribute to meeting discussions, articulating compelling viewpoints, and fostering a collaborative environment that values diverse input.

  • Mentor and knowledge share with peers in both technical and professional domains, helping them in advancing their careers.

  • Lead workshops and foster design thinking in cross-functional, collaborative workgroups.

  • Advocate for and promote a persuasive design perspective in company-wide discussions.

  • Display a growth mindset characterized by curiosity and a willingness to boldly question the established norms.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 6+ years of demonstrated product design experience. 

  • An advanced proficiency in Figma, examples of design system or library contributions, detailed UI components, prototypes and completed designs.

  • Experience presenting and facilitating research with remote teams.  

  • Detailed portfolio of work examples and case studies that demonstrates the span of the design process. 

  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

  • Experience with delivering design work for Product Development in an Agile environment.

  • Energetic self-starter that does the very best to make things right, contributes consistently and takes accountability when things go wrong even in the most challenging circumstances.

  • Excellent communication and high emotional intelligence, with the ability to build positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.

  • Possess a growth mindset and demonstrate active listening during feedback, problem-solving and difficult discussions.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making 

  • Lead experience preferred. 

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $45,000.00 - $99,991.00 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
