Purpose:
This position is responsible for performing remote and on-site support for a wide range of products and services including PC, Mac, Servers, Android and iPhone devices, networking, and third-party software. Contributes to the IT team in development and implementation of IT strategy for a fast-growing commercial construction company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain IT infrastructure at company facilities throughout Louisville, Bullitt, and Oldham County
- Install, configure, and maintain new hardware and applications for field personnel
- Assist in implementation of new IT projects throughout the network to support and enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency
- Assess physical needs of each work location, and collaborate with local teams to ensure an optimal work environment within budget
- Utilize operational tools to monitor network status and performance
- Provide application support for Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Oracle, and other third-party software
- Participate in technology specific learning to keep abreast of emerging IT issues
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum associate degree in a computer, technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- One year of relevant experience
- Professional certifications such as A , Network , MCSE a plus
- Experience troubleshooting Windows, Apple, Android, networking issues
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to discuss technical concepts with non-technical colleagues
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with an ability to multi-task effectively
- Function independently with the ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Successful experience working in a team environment
