Job Description of Order Packaging Assistant:
The two roles of Order Packaging Assistant are being sought out by UPS. For this job, the applicant will have to balance the duties of warehouse work like loading and unloading packages, along with driving UPS trucks for package deliveries. As a Warehouse Worker, you will perform package handling, and as a Temporary Cover Driver, it will be your responsibility to ensure successful delivery to the customer. The applicant should have impressive customer service skills, be flexible, and confident in their abilities to work in both warehouse and driving environments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Order Packaging Assistant:
• Manage the movement of packages onto and off of UPS vehicles during transportation.
• Arrange the shipments in an organized fashion to avoid any confusion during delivery.
• It is important to invest time in maintaining a clean workspace to avoid uecessary distractions and reduce the risk of accidents.
• The implementation of safety protocols and adherence to UPS procedures is paramount for the successful operations and safety of the workplace.
• Each day, workers need to work for 3? - 5 hours as per operational necessities either from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday.
• Operate UPS delivery trucks to send parcels to different destinations.
• Establish a rapport with customers and focus on their individual needs.
• Adhering to driving safety protocols and UPS procedures is essential to keeping both drivers and the public safe and satisfied with the delivery service.
