Warehouse Associate (Full-Time, 2nd Shift)

Position Type: Full-Time

Average Hours: 30-35 hours per week

Starting Wage: $23.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Efficiently receive and select incoming stock to fulfill store orders
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to handling guidelines
• Sort, organize, and strategically load merchandise for shipment
• Unload incoming shipments from trucks/back-hauls
• Clean the warehouse to maintain appearance standards and safety requirements
• Assist with warehouse inventory counts
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and leadership
• Provide input to improve processes and inspect product quality and safety
• Assist management in achieving budgeted goals
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures
• Follow ergonomic program procedures and operate equipment safely

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place product up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights
• Move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare product for store deliveries
• Sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse
• Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments)
• Safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment
