Responsibilities
Undertakes tasks pertaining to the acquisition, storage, and transportation of commodities while meeting standards of output, quality, safety, conduct, and attendance
The completion of inbound and outbound transactions within distribution centers is done effectively and efficiently, thanks to the use of established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies
With established processes, procedures, and equipment, complete warehouse responsibilities in a secure manner while meeting performance objectives for productivity, quality, safety, and attendance
Assignments may comprise of numerous responsibilities such as unloading, shelving, organizing, authenticating, choosing, packaging, restocking, reviewing, sending, crafting containers, and so forth
Strict adherence to company policies, guidelines, and procedures is mandatory when it comes to the storage, movement, and handling of products at Grainger. Additionally, all employees must comply with state and federal regulations, OSHA, and Hazardous Material guidelines
Undertakes required cleaning duties to keep up a neat and secure workplace environment
Leverages Grainger's quality management system to identify and implement process improvements
Carry out PIE as specified
Several types of machinery are classified as PIE equipment, including Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett, and Turret Truck
