Corporate Event Sales Manager

This position will be focused on driving Corporate Events Sales.

Meetings, Conferences, Offsites, Activations, etc...

We have 4 main events spaces and 3 smaller ancillary spaces. They are all filled with the charm our building's original architecture, and offer great flexibility for various uses.

Global brands are moving into Brooklyn and Manhattan based companies are more open to visiting and hosting in Brooklyn. This opportunity is the perfect moment for us to take significant leaps forward.

The existing sales infrastructure is excellent, from the light and charm and flexibility of the spaces, to our first class culinary team led by Aidan O'Neil and his Top 100 in NY restaurant Le Crocodile, to our dedicated service team, and all the support available from the larger Hotel team.

Job Description

The Corporate Event Sales Manager will be responsible for Corporate sales for Wythe Hotel.

They will be expected to bring energy and urgency and intelligent processes to the business every day.

They must contribute to a culture of professionalism and excellent personal service.

They must be thoughtful and collaborative in all tasks and meet high expectations, of revenue, and of excellence in the experience at Wythe - from first contact, to final thank you note.

General Responsibilities
• Consistently push Corporate Sales, always identifying new opportunities for increasing bookings and departmental revenue, while delivering exceptional service at every interaction.
• Use all avenues of communication and outreach to enhance awareness of Wythe Hotel’s events facilities and capabilities.
• Work to ensure excellent standards of personal service, responsiveness, follow through, professionalism, and event execution.
• Present event options and opportunities in a professional and engaging manner to all potential clients.
• Ensure all clients are thrilled with their experience at Wythe.
• Collect reviews and critical feedback from clients and present opportunities for improvements to the relevant departments
• Track lead conversions and performance
• Work with the Room Sales Team and contribute to hotel room revenue via event bookings for groups.
• Collaborate on departmental revenue budget and meet sales goals each year
• Contribute to growing the list or repeat business for Corporate Sales at Wythe
• Identify and keep abreast of event trends and high level client expectations in terms of space, catering options, service standards and pricing.

Day to Day
• Respond in a thoughtful fashion and a timely manner to all leads and inquiries.
• Tour Event Spaces with potential clients.
• Work to book 100% of leads that are desirable for the Hotel.
• Attend Weekly Meetings including the Sales Meeting with Sales/Marketing Team and Ownership and a full Events Review with Coordinators/GMs/F&B Team
• Effectively communicate the requirements of Events to the Coordination team.
• Post-event follow up, billing and administration
• Attend and assist events as needed
• Pursue all marketing, PR and networking opportunities.
• Be involved in the Marketing Strategy for Events.
• Bring creativity to outreach and marketing.

• Ability to create smart, efficient systems for managing tasks and communications from multiple clients and across all Hotel Departments
• Thrive on making sales.
• Enjoy outreach and prospecting.
• Ability to think strategically and collaborate on execution with existing teams.
