Porter Corp, founded in 1964 as W. H. Porter, is a company focused on innovative architectural structures. Starting as one of the first producers of SIPS (structural insulated panels), the company developed the brand PorterSIPs to manufacture high performance building systems that combine structure and insulation into one large rigid panel. Years later, to help expand the PorterSIPs construction, Porter Corp developed the first tubular bolt-together steel frame with concealed bolts. This product, marketed as Poligon, is now the leader in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of shade coverings for applications in steel, fabric, and wood.
