Primary Responsibilities:

• Undertake supportive administrative and operational activities
• Respond to inquiries, requests and actions
• Participate in internal compliance audits
• Handle other regulatory research, report generation, corrective action plan oversight and review new laws/regulations/guidance
• Develop, Update and Maintain Clinical Letter Templates
• Create Ad Hoc Clinical Decision Letters
• Monitor changes to laws and regulations to ensure compliance with State & Federal laws, regulations and mandates
• Establish and implement standard policies, procedures, processes and best practices within our team to promote compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations
• Conduct state-specific legal research and monitor changes to requirements to mitigate risks and achieve compliance
• Support the collection of data for regulatory filings, coordinate and develop reports, projects, assessment tools to verify compliance
• May develop compliance communications and drive problem resolution for a business
• Moderate work experience within own function
• Some work is completed without established procedures
• Basic tasks are completed without review by others
• Supervision/guidance is required for higher level tasks

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/ GED
• 1+ years of experience working in a government, legal, health care, managed care and/or health insurance role
• Intermediate or better proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
