Description
Our team is seeking a skilled Commercial Data Collector/Review Appraiser to perform sales validation and verification, examining field review documents for completeness and accuracy. Responsibilities include conducting commercial property inspections, understanding market values, and applying pricing schedules to establish property values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform sales validation and verification.
• Examine field review documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Conduct commercial property inspections as required.
• Understand market values and apply pricing schedules to establish property values.
• Assist in handling taxpayer complaints and informal property reviews with property owners.
• Represent Tyler Technologies and clients professionally when completing assignments and interacting with the public or teammates.
• Drive vehicle to property locations for comprehensive inspections.
• Train new hires as needed.
• Create administrative reports and maintain production records.
• Demonstrate awareness of Company policies, including Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, Business Ethics, and Anti-Harassment policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
• Three years or more experience as a commercial data collector or review appraiser.
• State certified Tax Assessor or Appraiser (Practitioner).
• Significant mass appraisal experience is a plus.
• Excellent analytical ability.
• Spatial ability to read maps and locate physical locations.
• Ability to visualize floor plan footprints based on three-dimensional buildings.
• Good math skills to calculate square footage, ratios, and similar functions.
• Working knowledge of income capitalization.
• General PC skills, including MS Word and Excel knowledge.
• Reliable transportation, full insurance on vehicle, and valid driver's license are required.
This position requires regular travel to property locations and is not remote.
