About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Installation and Maintenance Expert to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cutting-edge battery storage solutions across a diverse array of projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct on-site installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of battery storage systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Travel for extended periods of time to perform Commissioning site equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and thermal management systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the operation and maintenance of the systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Document service activities and generate service reports and system documentation.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify system improvements and recommend product enhancements.
• Participate in the training of clients and junior engineers on system operation and maintenance.
Requirements
• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in field service engineering, particularly with battery energy storage or related technologies.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, energy management systems, and inverters.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with national and local electrical codes.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Availability to travel up to 50% of the time, including possible international assignments.
