• Work Schedule: 7:00 am-3:30 pm M-F; one Sat AM every other month

• Location: On-site in Kidron, OH
• Reports to Yard Supervisor/Dispatcher

Job Summary: This position exists-

· To contribute to the accomplishment of total customer satisfaction.

· To provide efficient daily, local/regional delivery of materials to job sites.

· To enable more products to be sold in larger quantities.

· To provide an important, timely service.

· To assist and support other team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide excellent customer service in distribution.

· Understands and follows company safety and employment policies.

· Assists in loading & unloading trucks safely and efficiently while inspecting materials.

· Assumes the responsibility for the truck's load.

· Timely delivery of the product to job site and back in a safe manner; obeys traffic laws.

· Follows special instructions on tickets; returns material in re-sellable condition.

· Inform team leader of problems/damages to materials/job site during delivery.

· Keeps truck clean inside and out; reports truck maintenance problems to team leader.

· Assists and fills in for other distribution team members.

· Assists in putting away trucks and locking buildings.

· Any other duties or responsibilities that management assigns.

Credentials, Education, and Experience:

· High school graduate or equivalent work experience

· Current CDL license-Class B Required; A is a Plus

· Participate in all company alcohol and drug testing programs.

· Excellent driving record

· Forklift certified

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

· Able to read and follow directions

· Strong interpersonal skills, enjoys working with people

· Highly organized

· Able to lift heavy loads and work with various types of tools and equipment

· Strong mechanical skills

· Practice safe driving skills and safely operate a forklift

Physical Demands:

· Heavy physical demands: able to easily/frequently lift/carry 25-75 lbs.

· Must be able to climb, reach, pull, stoop, crawl, and bend constantly.

· Requires the ability to stand on hard surfaces for long periods.

Environment and Physical Working Conditions:

· Work outdoors in a variety of climates/weather.

· Work is repetitive and physically demanding.

· May be exposed to harmful materials, fumes, odors, loud noise, or machinery.

· To avoid injury, the worker must wear safety clothing, such as gloves and safety shoes.
