Job Summary:
The Human Resource Clerk performs general clerical tasks related to all types of personnel functions. Will record, file, and process various types of employment documents.
Essential Functions:
•Performs general clerical tasks related to all types of personnel functions. Will record, file and process various types of employment documents.
•Responsible for data entry and record maintenance in Ceridian, TMW, Tenstreet, and Great Plains operations systems.
•Data Entry to include but not limited to: inputting new employee records, updating address changes, terminations, transfers, and other changes requested by field management.
•Distributes and files information and HR related paperwork.
•Investigates and responds to HR related questions or HR related correspondence.
•Verifies I-9 information for newly hired drivers.
•Responds to calls on the HR telephone line and distributes mail within HR.
•Other duties as necessary.
Other Requirements:
•Entry level position: High School diploma or equivalent required.
•Must have one year of data entry experience.
•Should be detail-oriented with excellent data-entry skills.
•Demonstrate PC aptitude required.
•Must have excellent customer service and telephone skills.
•Strong PC skills; Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
•Quick learner, self-motivated, great attitude.
•Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
•Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
•Work hours 9:00am-6:00pm (overtime as needed), Monday-Friday.
