JOB SUMMARY The Manufacturing Administrative Specialist role is responsible for various administrative tasks in a manufacturing environment.
Key duties include monitoring time and attendance for the shop, ensuring accurate clock-ins, tracking training records, and managing communication between departments such as HR, Quality Assurance, and Engineering.
The position also involves regular data entry, maintenance of planning logs, updating GEMBA boards, and supporting new hire orientation.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Strong background in a manufacturing environment Post-high school education preferred, but not required if candidate has relevant experience Strong background in time and record keeping.
Experience in calendar management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Outlook.
Experience with Cronos or Workday systems is a plus.
Ability to understand administrative needs and work independently.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Self-motivated and proactive in implementing new technologies and efficiencies.
Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with all departments.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Monitor time and attendance, verify proper clock-ins Work closely with HR Coordinator Work with engineering to distribute blueprints Log planning information Interact with all departments Sets up and manages paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as attendance records, correspondence, or other material.
Schedules appointments and maintains and updates appointment calendars.
