Senior Operations Manager Role

The Mgr./ Sr. Mgr. of Operations works within the Operations Organization at Vivalink, and plays a key role in enabling the success of Vivalink’s post-sales support offerings, which includes customer logistics support, Warranty, delivery of products and replacements to Vivalink customers. The Operations Organization within Vivalink is responsible for Service Supply Chain, including inventory planning, expansion of possible international operations, logistic, import / export of products, reverse logistics of RMA returns from customers, and the reuse of customer-returned inventory, all areas integrated end to end to deliver the best-in-class operations and service to our customers.

Responsibilities

Working within Vivalink ‘s Global Service Operations team, and working closely with Vivalink ‘s Logistics, Service Planning, Finance, and Quality teams, the Sr. Operations Manager must ensure that Vivalink is exceeding Customer Satisfaction, with optimal cost, delivery and quality performance as a top priority. With this role, the individual will be responsible for the day-to-day execution for providing customers and partners with the order management, order dispatch and order delivery of replacement parts.

 Ensure that key Operations policies, processes, and methodologies are implemented, and adhered.

 Systematically manage the progress status and delivery of Vivalink’s provisioned kits in addition with other sensors products.

 Manage and plan for inventory in US office, especially for provisioning activities.

 Working with QA to manage and plan for RMA support.

 Manage activities for possible re-use of customer-returned inventory, as needed.

 Hands-on involvement in shipping/receiving/logistic, both domestic and international.

 Work with VP of Ops on overall production planning and receiving.

 Assess vendor capabilities, financial solvency, product/service quality & pricing.

 Manage Exception approvals & internal and external escalations.

 Involve in MDM tool and support

 Improve Vivalink ‘s Order Management and its workflow, as needed.

Qualifications

 5+ years' demonstrated ability and proven success in professional services operations, and customer orientation within a high technology environment

 Deep understanding of supply chain operations and client methodologies, process

management and logistic support.

 Direct experience in managing customer sensitive escalation.

 Able to set up and manage an operation in a new country/region.

 Self-starter who has the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 Holistic understanding of organizational goals and how they impact the operation of the business. Must have experience managing cross-functional teams and projects.

 Ability to influence and motivate internal and external stakeholders

 Strong communication and analytical skills

 Experience with Microsoft Office, including strong proficiency in Excel

 Experience in Service Logistics.

 Team player with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

 Program management experience is a plus.

 Knowledge in MDM tool.

 Fluent in English. Chinese is a plus.

 Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

 At all times, operate with integrity and build trust with both internal and external partners.

Job Type: Full-time
