Job Summary:

Confirming and ensuring precision in executing planograms.

  • In charge of managing and organizing the proper implementation of system applications and reports that impact front-end and pharmacy prices and on-hand quantities.
  • Required to execute and maintain asset protection techniques in the pharmacy and front end, and submit the appropriate claims for discrepancies in received and billed merchandise from warehouse and vendors, including overages, shortages, order errors, and damaged prescription drugs.
  • In the event that store management is unavailable, designated stores are accountable for opening and closing the store. This involves starting up all required systems, handling cash, completing cashier duties, and ensuring the store floor and stock room are optimally prepared.
  • Provide customers with a hearty welcome and assist them with any information they need concerning products and facilities. Additionally, when performing the duty of a supervisor at specific stores, take charge of addressing customer grievances and answering inquiries to provide a satisfying experience.
  • Shares feedback from customers with team members to reinforce best practices and identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Trains and mentors staff members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes, ensuring that they possess the necessary skills to carry out their roles effectively.
  • The team diligently marks all the delivered products, ensuring that no goods are left unaccounted for while the vendor is still in the store.
  • It is the job of an assistant pharmacist to assist the lead pharmacist in processing all pharmacy shipments accurately. The assistant pharmacist verifies the postings of all orders received, including warehouse orders, ABC prescriptions, OTC orders, and any product that has been damaged or was short in supply.
  • The end-to-end On-Shelf Availability (OSA) process starts with the planned product departments, ensuring that the products are displayed according to the planogram. By executing disposals, call-ins, and vendor returns before their expiration, the process guarantees product availability for customers.
  • Responsible for handling excess inventory returns and transferring stock between pharmacies within the company as needed, specifically for non-returnable ABC overstock.
  • The individual in this role performs the necessary actions to finalize pricing-related tasks such as modifying prices, reducing prices, and eliminating reduced-price items. The position entails managing fundamental pricing processes within various sections, which include implementing price adjustments daily, maintaining accurate pricing with appropriate signage, and ensuring all other mandatory pricing-related work is finished promptly and competently.
  • The main task at hand is to keep a close eye on the pharmacy manual orders to detect any over-ordering.
  • Monitors and revises the inventory of designated merchandise scheduled for removal and quarantine, guaranteeing that they are secured in the assigned holding space.
  • Maintains an accurate inventory count by keeping track of on-hand stock quantities across different departments, storage areas, and overstock locations.
  • The pharmacist-in-charge's oversight is critical to ensuring that the pharmacy's inventory counts and on-hand quantities are accurate, enabling the provision of reliable service to patients.
  • It is expected of the store to adhere to state and local laws regarding regulated products, such as tobacco and alcoholic beverages, to maintain inventory compliance.
  • Provides assistance in inventory recordkeeping activities, which involves recording and uploading all received items into inventory systems from the store's front-end. They also arrange and keep invoices, receipts, and return authorizations required for inventory activities.
  • Provides assistance in preparing for physical inventory by supporting initiatives like organizing the sales floor, stockroom, and pharmacy, and verifying that the third-party team completes an accurate inventory count on inventory day.
  • Maintaining an orderly and clean retail environment is fundamental in promoting customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Skilled in the utilization and maintenance of all store hardware and software.
  • As an assistant, the incumbent is responsible for coaching and supporting the store team in package delivery tasks, including package scanning, inventory management, and product returns. Moreover, they play a vital role in ensuring the smooth implementation of the Pickup Program.
  • Your role as the leader on duty in specific stores involves registering all sales in the designated point-of-sale system (POS) accurately. This requires keeping track of scanning errors, price checks, unlisted items, price adjustments, and voids. In addition, you must execute product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provide change on request.
  • Maintains compliance with all institutional rules and regulations while cultivating amicable connections with team members.
  • Executes all supplementary assignments and tasks designated.

Qualification:

  • Twelve months of retail industry acquaintance and proficiency.
  • The successful applicant must be proficient in speaking, writing, and reading English, with the exception of Puerto Rico, where this criterion is not mandatory.
  • A candidate's willingness to work on weekends and evenings is essential, as the job requires being available during these times.
  • Presented a remarkable sense of attention to detail and ability to handle multi-tasks with ease.
  • Skilled in recognizing operational inefficiencies and devising streamlined solutions to enhance productivity.
  • Applicants with a background as a shift supervisor, pharmacy tech, DH, or customer support staff are preferred over others.
