Warehouse Specialist

Job Summary:

Package handlers handle all aspects of parcels, including assembling, filling, sealing, scanning, and loading into trucks for delivery. They inspect packages to make sure they contain the correct products or materials and track items to ensure they are delivered safely and promptly.

What skills do you need to be a package handler:

• Package handlers must have b communication and comprehension abilities to be successful.
• Candidates should have some knowledge of hand tools and equipment, such as forklifts, conveyor belts, wheel rollers, and other loading tools.
• Basic computer skills may also be required for Warehouse Package Handlers.

Responsibilities of a package handler:

• Follows written and verbal instructions from the warehouse manager.
• Loads and unloads packages at the warehouse.
• Make sure all packages are properly packed and loaded.
• Sorts packages and stacks them on pallets.
• Report any issues to the warehouse manager.
