Accounting Assistant - Data Entry Invoice Adjustments

We are looking for a skilled administrative professional to assist our accounting department in adjusting invoices and completing the data entry for our inventory needs. Produce experience and/or inventory control experience preferred, Famous Software experience a plus.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Process adjustments on Customer Invoices and associated grower/shipper payables in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Process weekly adjustments to On-Hand inventory based on provided count sheets.
• Prepare and send out Revised and Balance Due invoices.
• Process Customer Rebate reports for accuracy, verify G/L balances, and create Check Requests as needed.
• Place office supply orders for all departments.
• Various other clerical duties and cross training as assigned.

Skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong Data entry skills
• Proven working experience in a produce and/or inventory control position preferred
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office

This is a full time benefited position, Monday thru Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
