Collaborate within the regional teams on technical presentations and customer interactions to ensure suitable business opportunities and solutions are identified and secured for Sandvik Coromant.Key responsibilities:Identify and research potential customers in the Automotive industry segmentDevelop and maintain customer relationshipsTrack and report on the status of projects and opportunitiesMake and give presentations to prospective customers and key decision makersCollaborate across sales regions with local Account Managers through CRM softwareDevelop and manage strategic partnerships to grow businessDrive the end-to-end sales processRecommends products and services that fit well with customers’ business needsResponds to complex technical questions regarding products, systems or servicesTroubleshoots, investigates, and resolves technical problems that arise during or after implementationYour way of workingBuild effective working relationships with end customers and distributorsSupport sales activities by analyzing customer technical needs and implement solutionsEnsure successful opportunities are identified and appropriate products are technically applied to maximize profitable growthDocuments product performance and application savings to ensure Sandvik Coromant can develop and deliver the most competitive products in the market.Lead customer projects from start to finish with the local teamCoordinate between all internal stakeholders, partners, and customers around projects and opportunitiesYour profileApplicant should be a US citizen or a Permanent Card holder.Degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or applicable industry experience.Technical experience with cutting tool skills and knowledge.Experience in CAM & CAD is a plus.Project management and experience managing external and internal customer relationships is an advantage.Must possess a current driver’s license valid for his/her state of primary residence.Required CompetenciesBroad technical knowledge in metal cutting tools and strong competence in area of expertiseAbility to support a diverse and geographically spread teamAbility to manage projects and opportunities effectively, capable of leveraging all resourcesAbility to listen to customers and sales project teams to understand underlying needs and ensure suitable technical solutions are delivered to secure profitable businessBenefitSandvik offers a comprehensive total compensation package including a competitive benefits package of health, dental and disability insurance, and a 401(k)-retirement savings plan.
