Your role:
- Director, Learning & Development for either on site in Huntsville, Al or can be fully remote from anywhere in the US.
- Must hold a Master’s degree in Training, Communications and or Business-related field
- Have 5+ years’ experience executing corporate training programs
- Have conducted and/or lead training classes including the role of an instructor
- Be proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
- Be a strong communicator including solid written skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Enjoy working with diverse groups of employees
- Be a self-starter
- Must be detailed oriented and a strategic thinker
- Be willing to travel 20-25% of the time as required
- Overall responsibility for company-wide Training Program
- Management of all training records and certification progress
- Develop, Manage and schedule classes with instructors
- Update and maintain Training Program for CMMI certification
- Search for additional instructors, as needed
- Management of class materials with the instructor (both virtual and live).
- Management of facilitating courses (both live and virtual)
- Management of the production of any printed materials
- Working with instructors to maintain and update training materials
- Management of updates to the corporate training plan as required
- Management and oversight of Udemy Learning tool
- Working with contract managers to plan any trainings they deem necessary for their contract
- Distributing any webinar information or other online media that could be useful to employees
- Ensuring course listings or program brochures are current
- Distributing upcoming class information to all employees for enrollment
- Obtaining approvals from management on all who attend a class
- Oversee the Executive Leadership Preparation (ELP) program
- Managing the initiation of yearly mandatory training and status updates to completion
- Leading and participating in the discussions of new courses and potential instructors
- Providing and reviewing training reports, as required
- Keeping record of our virtual professional working group meetings.
- Ensuring our software learning platform is being utilized as required
- Managing all current learning programs and developing future learning programs.
