Where applicable, guides the work of the Service Clerk(s). Pay Rate: $67,873.44-$93,328.89 annually Pay rate is dependent upon education and experience. Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Initiates and closes all shop work orders as necessaryCreates service estimate for customers prior to beginning workCoordinate with customer regarding service estimate, approval, prior to beginning workSchedules and maintains records on safety training, vehicle inspections, etc.Handles all incoming calls pertaining to scheduling of shop work, and information concerning customer inquiries for all shop related areasReviews work orders, warranty jobs, daily hours & determinesReviews and approves daily hours on each work orderReviews service Work In Progress for work orders closed in shop and open in service accountingReviews all customer jobs with shop manager or designee to insure that work, as requested, was completedComplete & submit parts exchange core reports in a timely mannerOrganize & Maintain all paperwork for workorders, current library of publications, & file on PO's and canceled PO'sChecks all requisitions for proper codingFigures dollar amounts on firm ratesOther duties as assigned by managerRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED2 years vocational training preferred5+ years' experience as a technician or comparable position3+ years administrative/clerical experience3+ years customer service experience1+ years sales experience1+ years supervisory/management experienceSupervisory Responsibilities:Assigns work orders and schedules workload of techniciansDirects Service Clerk in clerical functions where applicableProvides input into the annual Performance ReviewsPhysical Demands & Competencies:Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearingData Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skillsSafety & Product KnowledgeSedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing but may require occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 poundsAbility to direct the work of othersAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentWarranty training/knowledgeBasic knowledge of Microsoft Word and OutlookBasic knowledge of DBSBasic knowledge of SIMSIIntermediate knowledge of ET/SIS/SIS Web/STWWork Environment:Noise: ModerateIndoorsOther Duties:Job Offers are contingent upon all required pre-employment screenings which may include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcohol testing, fit for duty testing, and any other job-related tests/screenings.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
