As an employee-owned company, our people are at the center of everything we do and empower them to grow, explore new possibilities and use their diverse talents and perspectives to solve humanity's biggest challenges in an ever-evolving world.
We are building a world of difference with over 100 years of innovation in sustainable infrastructure and our expertise in engineering, procurement, consulting and construction.
The Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with experience in a working environment, meaningful work assignments, introduction to Black & Veatch corporate culture, and chance to network with experienced executives and leaders.
The key responsibilities include developing, evaluating, and designing specifications and contract drawings, performing various tasks to support engineering analyses, report production, and designs, preparing basic calculations, assisting in basic equipment selection, coordinating with other disciplines, scheduling project deliverables, collecting, organizing, and evaluating data, analyzing systems utilizing computer modeling, and organizing and filing project materials and references.
No experience is required for this position, but current enrollment in an ABET accredited university in a Civil Engineering program with emphasis in Structural, Environmental, Transportation, or Geotechnical is necessary.
