You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams (e.g. Operations, Marketing, Product etc.) to solution new processes to solve high priority issues or member experience gaps
  • Strategic initiatives aimed to improve member and provider experience or improve the affordability of healthcare
  • Occasional project management of large, complex problems with solutions that require multiple group stakeholders
  • Report consolidation, aggregation & summarization (including driving to automation)
  • Develop business cases to support prioritization of innovative capabilities
  • Readiness of reporting and status for weekly audiences (as needed) as well as monthly and quarterly business reporting needs
  • State-specific requirements & reporting as needed
  • Identify operating costs opportunities and targets
  • Budgeting & forecasting per-member, per month operating costs calculations, variation, and remedies
  • Scale planning and approval for growth needs including driving efficiencies into the model and operations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of healthcare experience
  • Technology project background (e.g. system implementation or migration, product/capability dev, etc.)
  • Proven understanding and interpretation of health plan operational metrics, particularly medical claims
  • Advanced Excel skills

Preferred Qualifcation:

  • Solid Process Improvement skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
