The company is looking for a Welder who will be doing the following works-
• Communicate effectively with others, both written and verbal
• Follow and promote safe work practices
• Possess a working knowledge of blueprint and schematics
• Support lean initiatives
• Use a variety of hand tools
• Willingness to support team concept and learn/perform other duties as required
• Work effectively and professionally with others in a team setting
Educational Qualification
• The applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience
• The candidates should have 1+ years of TIG welding experience
Duties/Responsibilities
• Ability to be flexible to support team’s goals (duties, hours, and overtime)
• Adherence to Operator Acceptance Procedures (OAP)
• Assembly of details on parts utilizing various tools
• Contribute to continuous improvement and support 6S initiatives
• Inspect finished product and identify defects
• Multi-skilled in different operations (fabrication, machining, inspection, etc.)
• Perform designated line, TIG, or resistance welding tasks as assigned
• Utilize inspection gauging on parts and run first piece inspection of parts
• Utilizes precision measuring instruments to inspect and measure parts
• Willingness to support team concept and learn/perform other duties as required
Desired Qualifications
• Ability to perform precise and detailed work
• Communicate effectively and professionally with others, both written and verbal within the team
• Follow and promote safe work practices
• Understand how to identify and effectively use a variety of power and hand tools
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
• Ability to read, understand and utilize procedures, detailed computerized build plans, and basic mathematical calculations
