2nd Shift Assembly Associate

Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for a 2nd Shift Assembly for a Bike accessory manufacturer located in the Bradenton, FL area.

Duties:
• Work with a group or individually to build assemblies and products based on written instructions and verbal guidance.
• Participate in housekeeping and organization of shared workstations.
• Perform final quality checks of subassemblies and finished products during assembly builds.
• Test internal and outsourced parts and products for quality and identify non-conforming parts at all stages of the assembly process.
• Operate a hand drill and other equipment to correctly assemble parts as well as complex products.
Requirements:
• Ability to work at a consistent pace within a team environment or individually, as directed by leadership.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Comfortable switching between small-part assembly and faster-paced assembly-line builds.
• Ability to bend and reach repeatedly;
• Ability to lift, move, and carry bins of product and material weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis;
• Positive attitude & ability to work with others; and
• Ability to remain standing at a workstation for up to 8 hours.
