An iMPact Business Group manufacturing client is seeking to add a Level 1 Help Desk / Technical Support staff member to their IT organization.
This role will be seated at a Plant location in Holland, MI and will also participate in Technical Support for the primary location nearby.
This is a Technical Support role and will involve a variety of Hardware / Software / User Support duties including -
- Setting up new Users equipment and system access
- Hardware Support - for all sorts of computing equipment including Laptops, Tablets, Scanners, Printers, and related computing equipment
- Software and OS support and troubleshooting
- General User Support and Problem Solving
- Providing remote User Support for multiple locations (4-6)
- VoIP system deployment and support (Phone System support)
- Pager, Cell Phone, and related communication support
- General PC application support including MS Office, MS Teams, and other software
This is an onsite role at the primary assigned location, providing remote support to other facilities.
- 1-3 years experience in a Technical Support / Help Desk environment
- Experience with remote support
- Experience with Deskside support
- Experience logging and processing Help Desk tickets
- Experience troubleshooting hardware including PCs, Laptops, Mobile Devices, Scanners, Label Printers, Phones, and conferencing solutions
- Strong Customer Service focus and approach with Users
- Experience supporting Office Staff and Plant Production staff
- 1-3 years experience in a Technical Support / Help Desk environment
- Experience with remote support
- Experience with Deskside support
- Experience logging and processing Help Desk tickets
- Experience troubleshooting hardware including PCs, Laptops, Mobile Devices, Scanners, Label Printers, Phones, and conferencing solutions
