Job DescriptionReady to forge your welding career building the future? PAR Systems is looking to add diverse, dynamic, and dedicated people to our Marine team. With a strong history in design and manufacturing of naval ship systems, PAR Marine is focused on designing systems for ships of the future. Starting with the fundamentals the Welder Apprentice will learn various weld preparations (including fitting/layouts), welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to specification. The hands on learning experience prepares Welder Apprentices to complete complex MIG, TIG, STICK and Flux Core weld fabrication projects. Welder Apprentices completing the training program transition straight to the shop floor building our world class products. Success Criteria:The floodgates to success are open and PAR is well equipped with experienced team members to provide training support. This is a one of kind opportunity to hone your welding skills and learn superior fabrication techniques by working with our Manufacturing Weld Engineer, Manufacturing Supervisor, and other expert welding team members. Once you are fully trained and ready for the floor, there will be an evaluation process to ensure you are ready to meet our high-standards.
