Summary:
Compensation for this position will be determined based on various factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity. The expected salary range for this role is between $115,000 and $140,000. Additional compensation may include but is not limited to, bonus programs and an employee stock purchase plan. The role is responsible for overseeing and managing an organization's supply chain planning activities. This role involves implementing the supply chain strategies, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring timely product availability to meet customer demand. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, analyzes data, and identifies opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and drive cost savings while ensuring timely delivery of product to customers.
Essential Functions:
• Execute the integrated business planning process (IBP) by managing cross-functional efforts that fully integrates demand, supply and distribution planning processes.
• Drive the implementation of new supply chain planning strategies to optimize inventory levels, ensure product availability, and meet customer demand.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including commercial, marketing and demand to analyze demand patterns, sales forecasts, and market trends to anticipate future demand and develop scenarios to adjust to supply chain plans accordingly.
• Work with procurement, production, and logistics, to find ways to enhance operational efficiency.
• Establishes and supervises supply planning and distribution activities by monitoring on time delivery, lead times, material inventories, tracking production progress, and reviewing factors that affect schedules. Explain deviation from target with root cause investigations.
• Implement methods and best practices related to the systems and processes that support managing inventory and reducing excess and obsolete expenses. This includes control management measures, such as aged inventory, safety stocks, reorder points, and economic order quantities, to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts for all finished goods, work in progress and raw materials.
• Drive usage of supply chain planning software and identify improvements to the planning and scheduling processes.
• Maintain a high quality of data for planning parameters to execute the order fulfillment strategy – stocking policies, lead time, safety stocks, etc.
• Drive improvement projects and special initiatives required of the planning organization.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain management or related.
• Experience with inventory management, demand forecasting methodologies, supply chain planning software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Travel: Up to 10%.
