As an Outdoor Furniture Sales Associate in our high-quality showroom, you will have the opportunity to provide top-notch customer service and drive sales for our business. Your role will involve understanding customer needs, addressing their inquiries about our exceptional products and services, and offering thoughtful recommendations. Our sales approach is designed to be professional yet relaxed, ensuring that every customer leaves with a smile and a great experience.
This role is based in a premium outdoor furniture showroom, distinct from Best Buy's larger retail stores.
What you'll do
• Welcome all customers warmly and create a positive initial impression.
• Become a knowledgeable resource on patio furniture, sharing accurate and up-to-date information about product features, pricing, delivery, warranties, and returns.
• Process customer orders both in-person and over the phone.
• Keep an eye on inventory levels and stay informed about any items that are low in stock.
• Follow up with potential customers through phone calls, emails, and online chats.
• Occasionally represent our brand at trade shows, engaging visitors and inviting them to our booth.
Basic qualifications
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a dynamic team.
Preferred qualifications
• At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or retail.
• Experience handling POS transactions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
